In Loving Memory

Since I've been soaking in all this death lately, I've been giving thought to preparations for my own demise. In particular, I've been pondering a good epitaph for my gravestone. For many years, I'd wanted "Little. Yellow. Different. Better." but it occurs that that might not age too well.

I think I've settled on a better one:

Here Lies
Neddie Jingo
1960 - 20XX

What the hell was all that about?

Off to revise my will...

  1. I'm far from a Trekkie, but I've always been partial to:

    "He's dead, Jim."

  2. Me? I'm renting advertising space.

    "Carnation milk is the best in the land;
Here I sit with a can in my hand -
No tits to pull, no hay to pitch,
You just punch a hole in the son of a bitch.”

  3. "A man, a plan, a canal, ervrqzfh."

  4. In an appropriate Looney Tunes voice: "Which way did he go, boy, which way did he go?

  6. Another fun post, Neddie. Sorry about the sad inspiration -

W.D., you killed me. How, exactly, did I not see 'ervrqzfh' coming?

    My options:

    He liked pie.

Okay, who stepped on a crack?
    ---
They were rubber, he was glue.
    ---
    Can you hear me now?

    Here I lie, brokenhearted...
