This may not impress folks in the more snow-intensive parts of the world, but for the Washington, DC, environs, this is some pretty serious snow:
I took that a few hours ago, and it's still bucketing down out there. Won't stop till this evening.

Here's hoping your power stays on...
Post more photos as you get the chance. Down here in Georgia we never see that much. Happy to say, I've never owned a snow shovel.
You must be getting it all up there.... It looks gorgeous!!!! And like a whole lotta fun...and other stuff....
Although it may be just getting started in earnest here.... It's been disappointing, so far....
We escaped to Florida in time to miss this one. Sally is disappointed she won't get to walk in the snow. It is so beautiful walking around Georges Mill and Stevens with the trees coated with snow. And the silence!
We'll have to salve our souls by walking on the beach.
Good King Sauerkraut looked out

Well, this proves it: There's no such thing as global warming.
My world and welcome to it. Here's hoping it sticks around for a week so you can have a white festive holiday season. And for your sake I hope it melts on Boxing Day.
Snow or not, let me be the first to stop by and tell you how impressed I am by your work on the annual BG/NJ Holiday (yes I said HOLIDAY Bill O'Reilly, what are you gonna do about it) Earful!!!
Like I told Beege, you're halfway to a whole album!! Worked for the Smithereens. AND Mojo Nixon.
The phrase "snow teevee" made my laugh with gusto!
Thanks gan
