...And because I'm swamped at work, y'all can just watch The Coolest Man in Rock-n-Roll History instead.
Or I'll entertain your candidates for C.M.I.R-n-R.H in Comments. But be warned, you're gonna have to search long and hard (oooh! That's what she said!) to find somebody cooler than Bo Diddley.

Good item this morning on NPR about Bo Diddley - seems his first musical interest was classical violin. I'll go look for it at NPR.org and report back.

Hornier Roadshows,
You said it all...
Bo personified coolness.
GodDAMN, who's the chick on guitar, and how the fuck are they tuned??
Elvis was pretty fucking cool, and so was John Lennon, but they were not cooler than Bo.
Two words.
Pat Boone.
Aw, he sold out th' second he changed his name from Do Biddley.
What the hell kind of guitar is that? And I'm with Will -- f'git Bo Diddly -- who's the guitar-playing babe on the right? She rules my world much moreso than him.
Clapton is God.
I love that clip. Is that from the TAMI show? There are so many amazing performances in that one.
I think the Stones had to follow James Brown, and they actually held their own.
I also love how Bo Diddley's background singer is playing the rhythm guitar.
If it isn't cool, it isn't rock and roll.
