If I was to say, "If Bush believes there are people out there trying to assassinate him, then I say let's do it. It would be cheaper than prolonging this endless, mindless war. And I don't think it would stop the flow of oil one drop."
If I WAS to say that, do you think the State Dept would issue a statement saying, "...as a private citizen he has the right to say anything he wants...", or would Rummy say, "Well, private citizens say lots of things."?
Or could I expect visits from several governmental agencies with three-letter acronyms? And should I then expect to see nobody, ever again?
